FAQ: Triband?
-
Triband is a comedy video game studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Triband has one mission: make the world laugh through silly games, creating fun moments to share with the whole family. And also hotdogs.
-
Our focus is on games that are fun for everyone, and we believe that surprising and stupid gameplay that will make you go “What?” is a key to this.
We’re the studio behind WHAT THE GOLF?, WHAT THE BAT?, WHAT THE CAR? and WHAT THE CLASH? and three of our games are released on Apple Arcade.
-
WHAT THE CAR? has had crossovers with Sneaky Sasquatch, Among Us (WHAT THE GOLF? actually did one too) as well as Goat Simulator+ and you can check them out in-game right now!
-
On Apple Arcade, the Triband games WHAT THE GOLF?, WHAT THE CAR? and WHAT THE CLASH? are all available.
In fact, they were developed with this platform in mind and work super well on iPhones and iPads. They’re also available on Mac and AppleTV, and WHAT THE CLASH? has a couch-play mode where the game is played in split screen or shared screen!
Other games that we love on Apple Arcade are Balatro, Dredge, Mini Motorways, Sneaky Sasquatch, Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Crossy Roads Castle.
-
Apple Arcade is a subscription service for games on Apple devices. It’s like Netflix for games.
You can read more about the games available and what’s great about Apple Arcade here.
-
Yes, WHAT THE GAMES? are appropriate for kids because there’s no ads, there’s no micro transactions, there’s no in-game chat.
Our games are silly and colorful, and we find that both children and those who are children at heart find them funny, comforting and a good time to play.
STREAMER OR PRESS?

Here’s links to our Press Kits! You don't have to remove music from the games when streaming and yes it's okay to monetize your stream.

My controllers / joystick / Bluetooth device isn’t working
If you have any controllers or other peripherals (joystick, PlayStation controller, racing wheel, etc.) plugged in or connected wirelessly while playing, please try to unplug/disconnect them and start the game with only mouse & keyboard or touch screen.
Help, my save is gone!
If you open your game, and find that the progress has been reset but that your achievements are still saved, here are some steps to check. If none of these steps help, please reach out to us with the details about what you tried and what platform you are on:
Check your save slot
Make sure that it’s not because you changed save slot.
Open Settings > Go to Saves > Check the other Save Slots (there are three to choose from).
Check Game Center and iCloud
Ensure you are signed into the exact same Apple Account for both iCloud and Game Center across all your devices.
If you play the game across multiple devices, this may have caused it to de-sync.
You can read further instructions to check Game Center and iCloud here.
Force a Resync
Open your device Settings, sign out of Game Center, and then sign back in to refresh and pull your Cloud data.
Subscription Status
If you canceled your Apple Arcade subscription, your data is saved for a potential resubscription, but waiting too long can cause older game saves to expire and become unsupported during a software update.
